Sossi Pilau

Ingredients
- Sossi tasty pieces 180g
- 500g rice- selected and washed
- 1 large onion – chopped
- 1 small garlic – crushed and chopped
- 1 small ginger – freshly sliced
- 100g tomato paste
- 1 tea sp dhana jeera
- 1 tea sp pilau masala
- 1 tea sp garam masala
- 50ml oil
Instructions
- Put a cooking pot on a stove and light it.
- Add to the pot, oil and onions to cook.
- Add garlic and ginger and allow to cook until golden brown.
- Lower heat and add dhana jeera, pilau masala, garam masala and mix it thoroughly. Then add tomato paste.
- Mix and increase the heat.
- Add Sossi tasty pieces and mix.
- Season with salt to taste
- Add enough stock, bring to boil.
- Add rice, bring to boil, lower and cover the rice and allow to steam until ready.
- Ready to eat. Serve with kachumbari on the side.
